Terms of service

1. What this is

WhamFam ("we," "us") provides a household operating system at whamfam.co and app.whamfam.co. By using WhamFam you agree to these terms.

2. Beta software

WhamFam is currently in beta. That means:

• The product is free.
• Features may change, break, or disappear without notice. We try not to break things, but during beta we may.
• We can't guarantee uptime, data persistence, or any particular feature will keep working forever.
• Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the security of your account and for the data you put in. Don't use WhamFam to store anything illegal, and don't enter data about people who haven't consented (the rest of your household is fine — that's the whole point).

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Use it to harass, defraud, or harm other people.
• Resell access without our written permission.
• Use the AI assistant for anything we'd be uncomfortable hearing about (illegal activity, generating CSAM, etc.).

5. AI output

Wham, the AI assistant, can be wrong. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, or financial decisions. Verify important information. We're not liable for actions you take based on AI output.

6. Your content

You own the data you put into WhamFam. You give us a limited license to process it (store it, run it through AI when you ask, display it back to you) so the service can work. We don't use it to train AI models or sell it. See the privacy policy for the details.

7. Termination

You can stop using WhamFam at any time. We can end your access if you violate these terms or if we shut the service down. If we shut it down, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

8. Disclaimers

WhamFam is provided "as is" during beta, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll email people on our list and update the date above. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
